This Weather Rocks...Part 2

When we left the boulders, mom and dad had this idea that I "would really love going to the pumpkin patch". And I did...for about 5 minutes. I mean it was cool - but how long can you stand, or in my case hover, in a field of giant orange squash before the entertainment wears thin? The best part was when I picked out a 30+ pound pumpkin and watched dad work hard to carry it out with me in his other arm. He eventually handed the pumpkin to mom, who simply put it down. Needless to say, we left with a nice 12 pound pumpkin.

Then today, I went to a farm in Jersey. Dad was psyched he got a two quart bushel of long hot peppers for $1.75. Mom was happy with an apple cider donut. Grandma got a "beautiful" bag of free-range chicken (though she also kept saying how bad she felt about it). And I got to peek my head through the cutout of this this oh-so-lifelike ghost for a photo opportunity. Boo.

This Weather Rocks...Part 1

I went to the Gunks on Saturday with the rents. Now I've been there before, but it never felt quite this good. A cool 58 degrees and sunny. Spent the day in the Trapps. Conditions for bouldering were mint...or at least that's what dad said. I'm starting to repeat things now, in case you were wondering. For instance:

You smile, I smile.

You need the crash pad, I take the crash pad.

You turn your head, I shove dirt in my mouth.

You think it'll be easy changing my diaper, I laugh in your face.

You talk to me, I look for doggies heading our way.

See how well I repeat things? Though, I probably should've mentioned I'm very selective...

Anyway, it was an awesome day. And my first real Fall day at the crag. I'm sure there'll be many, many more to come.
